Totality, Mercury is visible to the lower left of the eclipsed sun, it's very faint.
Totality, Venus is visible to the upper right of the Sun and Moon, close to the edge of the picture.
During totality the light is like sunset without the red color.
The Milky Way 2 nights before the eclipse.
The Moon, Jupiter, & Venus from the summit of Mt. Pilchuck on June 20th, 2015. I will return on the 30th.
Super Moon Rising
I went to the summit of Mt. Pilchuck to see the super moon on September 9th. It was cloudy, for awhile I thought I wouldn't see the moon. The clouds were forming to the South so the moon was visible. Wind was blowing from left to right in this picture. You can see the clouds forming at the ridge line.
